“I just love it, makes me happy!”
Sonya joined Down Home Ranch in 2016 and enjoys sewing, working in the greenhouse, and helping in the Enterprise room. She first learned needlework from her mother at age 14 and loves using the Ranch’s sewing machines and potting equipment. Sonya especially enjoys collaborating with staff, including Becky, the Day Program Activities Director. Her goals include making a tool bag, scarves, and clothing. She says creating and working at the Ranch makes her happy and proud.
